During the first weeks, we started to remember what we did the last year. Teachers proposed us a new project based on the creation of a progressive die. A progressive die is a machine with is composed by many pieces and is introduced in a mechanic or in a hidraulic press. Inside the die we can find many phases. Each phase makes a change in the piece, for example, a bend or a hole.

This die, must do a specific type of piece so we have started to learn about dies.

With Gaizka, for example, nowadays we are learning and doing exercises about bending, cutting and stuffing.

With Julen, we have been doing some exercises in Catia because then we have to design our die with that program. Catia has everything you can imagine about designing and is incredible what type of things you can create in minutes. Circular pattern, or rectangular pattern are the last features that we have study with him.

"Measurement machine"

With Nagore we have started using the measure machine to do some practices because we have to measure our die pieces when we finish the group project. This machine is easy to use but you have to watch out because if the machines collides with the piece, can broke.

In technical english, we have done a initiation listening about the processes and a exercise about type of processes.

At last, with Iranzu, we have started learning information about type of companies and its characteristics , what is a legal entity and individual entity, we have create our own company and our own logo. Apart from that we have saw what is a "DAFO" and we have started to do a market study.

To finish we like to say that we have started very motivated and we hope that this course will be exciting and a source of knowledge for us.
