Fiftheen week February 18-22th

The next week will be the last one because after that we will start doing our practises in different companies. People who had been working during the hole year, will do their practises in the same company. For example, Unai will do in "Samek" and Asier in Garita. The rarest case, was Victor because thanks to his english level and his efforts will go abroad to do his practises in a company witch is located in Poland.

If i had to speak about this week, i will define it like stressfull. And i said this because we don´t have any time to stop. We have had many things to do in all moment. 

For example, with Julen we have been practising in the "surfaces" world and we have done many pieces because this thursday we had an exam. We think that the next week we will have an another one but at this moment is not confirmed. Apart from that we finished doing the ensambling of the mold. We are very satysfied with the work that we have done. 

With Gaizka, we have corrected the exam of the last friday because there was an exercise that nobody in class did well in the exam. After correcting it we think that is was not very difficult. The exercise consisted on calculating some measures of the piece in the fisrt operation of the fabrication process. This is the exercise corrected. Apart from that, we continue doing advances in our progressive die.

With Nagore, we had finished doing the measuring exams. We had done properly so we are so happy. Apart from that, we have done all the planes of the mold and we have deliver the project report on time.

Fourteenth week February 11 - 15th

During this hole week, we have continued learning about the "surfaces" world in Catia V5. For example, we have leanr how to use a 3D project view, witch is used for project a view to another level of the plane with the offset you want to added. Apart from that, we done some pieces to continue practising because the next wednesday we will got the last exam about Catia.









On the one hand, we have continued with the project. After talking with a group called "Disenium", we have met with them to do the Iranzu´s report questions about t heir company. We think they have prepared very well all the questions and we are very satisfied. Apart from finishing the Iranzu´s report, we have continued with the project report because we have to deliver it the next tuesday and we dont have enought time.













On the other hand, Nagore, has raffle some pieces to do the measurement machine exam. We will do the exam the next wednesday so we have two days to continue practising with it. The exam will consist on measuring a piece and after that, draw it on 3D in Catia and do the drawing plane. We think we will do well because we have practise a lot with it.

Finally, with gaizka, he have been ensambling the mold again because we have finished measuring all the pieces and we have all the needing measures to do ensambly in 3D. In our team, we only need to finish ensambling the mold, and finishing the the die´s advances. Apart from doing this, we have learned a lot about stuffing and we have been doing many exercises because the last friday we  had an exam. In this exercises we need to calculate the energy that the punches do, the Ø of the bend at the first operation, and also the height of the wall in all operations. In case of not passing the exam, we will do the recuperation exam the next friday.

Thirteenth week February 4th-February 8th

During this week we have continued doing the project. We have divided all the class in to different groups because we think that we have many work to do and less time. We divided the class in to three main groups: The dissasemble of the plastic inyection die, the measurement of the pieces in the measure machine and finally the design of the pieces in Catia software. The first group, apart from doing the dissasemble of the die, they also have done an excel archive and have ordered all the pieces. The second group had to do the skecth of each piece and put measures on each sketch.




Apart from continuing with the project, we continue learning about catia and about the surfaces world. We have seen some new options such as join or (). This is the piece that we did the last wednesday.











With Iranzu, we continued preparing our answers and we have done the report with Disenium team. They have answered us properly and we are very happy with thee work that they have done.

We have started to do all the pieces in Catia and the planes. This are some pieces and planes that we have done. This are some examples.

With Nagore, we have done a project exam. In this exam we have done foundry exercises, an "AMFE report and more things.. During friday she gives us the marks and the results were so satisfactory for all the group.

Twelfth week January 28th - February 1st

During this week, we have started a new and the last project of the course. In september, teachers told us that maybe we wouldn´t have time to learn about surfaces in Catia and about plastic pieces but thanks to their effort and our work and compromise, we have finished the third project on time and we have a month to learn about surfaces and about plastic injection.

This monday we started learning about surfaces in Catia. From our point of view, is a difficult theme but very interesting. This is the piece that we did during monday. We see some options such as trim, join or fill.

During tuesday with Julen, we did a Catia competition in groups. We had to do a piece between all the members of the group and the unique rule was that while one member of the group waas doing thye piece, the rest has to be outside. Each member has fifteen to do as much as he can to finish the piece the first one. We reach to the final against Middle group. We dont have any photos about the pieces because we have to eliminated it when wed finish the competition. 

With nagore, we have been preparing the exam of the next tuesday about the fundition world. Apart from that, the wednesday Nagore came with a company worker called Jon Asenjo. Jon, explained us many interesting things about fundition and put in the projector some videos about the feeding channel of a foundry base with was designed by Stanzen lab team.

Apart from that, we are measuring different pieces of the die that that 2CMM course are fabricating and we are also measuring pieces of the plastic inyection die.

With Iranzu, we have prepared some answers of our company because in this project in her asignature we have to ask to another group some questions about their company and at the same time we have to answer the same questions to another group.

Finally, with Richard, we have done the oral presentations in pairs. Lander and me, talked about cars. We think that we did a good presentation and i think that we deserve a good mark.

Eleventh week January 21-25 th

Well, it is true that this and the last week have been a little bit different to others due to teachers strike, but during the hole week we have been working on the project and we know what we had to do.
First of all, we have distribute all the work very well because apart from the designing our foundry base, we also had to do a pay methods report, continue with the designing of the die and continue with the fabrication of the last year die so it has been a very stressful week.

One of the things that have delayed us has been that we have design our individually our foundry base. In the last project, we designed a progressive die per team so while 2 people were designing the die the other people could do the report and something like that.

During monday and tuesday we use all the day to continue with the designing of the foundry base and the ensambling. This are some of our foundry bases, some of them are similar because wqe did together but all of them are done individually.

During wednesday, thursday and friday we dedicated all the day to do the project report. In this report we have put many things about the foundry world. Apart from putting everything about our bases, we included information about materials, elements that we have to buy, information aboit foundrys etc..
We also finished Iranzu´s report in which we included some paying methods such as the bill or the cheque...

Finally, we did the Richard´s oral presentations in pairs. For example Lander and me are going to speak about cars.

After finishing this project, we would like to say that has been a little bit stressfull project due to the time that we have had to finish it. But we think that have donde a very good work because we have distributed all the job so well and we are happy with the final results.

Tenth week January 14-18 th

This week has been a little bit stressful because we have had many things to do in a little period of time. To start, we have to finish our foundry base for the next friday, and apart from that we have to do a report for Iranzu and we also have to continue with the fabrication of the die of the last year.
Apart from that the next week, some teachers will do a strike to fight for their rights and salary so this will repercute directly  not only to them but also to us.



During monday we start thinking about the parameters that our foundry base will have and we do some sketches to represent it. Apart from that, we start looking information about bills, checks etc..
After looking information of methods to pay, we divided the work into two groups. The first group will continue with Iranzu´s report, adn the other group will start with the design of the foundry base.

























To start designing the base, we look some information in moddle about it. We think to design a easy base because we don´t have enough time to think about it. This was the result of the design of the base foundry at friday.





The wednesday, apart from continueing designing the base, we went to a foundry  company called Betside. In that company, some workers tought us about who they work, their working methods, and we also look how some pieces were fabricated at that time. We think that it was very interesting and we learn a lot of things about it.







The thursday we did an exam with Julen and we put into practise some new things that we did in his classes such as how to rotate a steifnner between 45 grades and 90 grades or how to move from having two holes to three, four etc.. just doing a click.




Finally, the friday we start doing our base report and we continue designing our foundry bases. We would like to finish everything for the next wednesday or thursday to have a free day the friday.

Ninth Week January 7-11th

After christmas teachers had explain us a new project that we will do during january. This project, consists of designing a foundy base for the die that we design before christmas. The base have to had the needing parameters for the press that we used fot the designing of the die.
This proyect, motivate us a lot because we dont know anything about the foundry and we would like to know more about it.

During monday with Julen, we did a piece in Catia with his help to start working after christmas. The wednesday we did another piece in Catia more difficult than the piece we did on manday. This two pieces are pieces that you can do in a foundry.











We have continue with the fabrication of the die of 2 CMM project. We have finished our planes and we are measuring some pieces in the measuring machine.





















The wednesday, we did the defense of the project that we did during december with Miranda de ebro s people. We did a video conference and teachers told us the weak and strong points of our projects.















Finally, with iranzu, she start talking us about a report that we must do during the next two weeks. In this report we have to speak about different mthods to pay like bills, checks or bill of exchange.
