The last week, we discovered an error in the gravity center calculations. As we did not have enough time to correct it, and as we have been so busy during this week, we correct it the friday. First of all, we distribute the bend into 15 pieces and after that we discovered that instead being 15, were 11. As we have thought that were 15 pieces, the total perimeter of the cutting was bigger than we need it.On the other hand, we mistake some mistakes at the time of calculating the bending perimeter. We put as reference the hole bending and we only had to put the thickness of one line.
We thought that the force of the bending and the cutting was the same but this is not true because a cutting operation, needs 80% more force than a bending operation.

As you can see in the first picture, the hole perimeter of our piece is 741mm and before correcting the mistake was 969mm.
After correcting all the mistakes made during the last weeks, we applied the formula that appear in the photopraph. To finish, the gravity center is 3,4mm desviated from the origin.

During thursday, we retake the tree design in Catia and we inserted some colums in the lower plate. To do this, we create two parts, the first one to pad the sketch and the second one to pad the column in the Y axys. ( vertically). To finish it we create a pocket inside column to make a hole in the lower plate.
To finish with the assembly made during this week, we chose in a catalogue called "UNCETA" some caps to introduce in the colums. We did the same steps to introduce the caps into the assembly design. The unique change compared with the last paragraph mentioned, is that in this case the hole was created for the colums could pass from the caps.

During tuesday, in Nagore´s class, Asier De Miguel, explained an AMFE that Garita supported him. This AMFE belonges to a piece that is made in Garita, and is used to give transmission to the car wheels. In this AMFE, we look different problems/mistakes or troubles that can occur since the raw material is being transported to the company until the piece is finalized. Some of the common mistakes that can appear during this process are the aparition of burs, deformations and measures out of tolerance. Apart from looking the AMFE, we see the plane of the piece and a control pattern that is provided to the operators. In this control patterns, apeare some common mistakes that can occur and how to check if the piece is correct or incorrect with images and photos.

During the english class, we did some exercises. In one of them, we read a text about the steps of doing a car and after that, we did a exercises. Apart from that, we listen a conversation between a teacher and her students. In that conversation, she told them about some studying methods and give them some advices to study in a better way. After listening the recording, we did some questions about the conversation. Moreover, looking ahead to the subject of Iranzu, on wednesday, we agreed that the group presentation we would do on 16th, Friday, in English. For this, we are going to do a prezi, which we have started doing this Friday in advance of a week.
